Google Drive: This performs the same function as the original Google Drive app. You choose what folders to sync from your Google Drive cloud storage, and they'll appear in a Google Drive folder on your PC. Anything you put into that folder will also sync to Google Drive.

Open up Internet Explorer (or Google Chrome)
At the URL address bar, type in one of the Google URLs, they are
http://mail.google.com/a/k12.kpdsb.ca
http://drive.google.com/a/k12.kpdsb.ca
http://calendar.google.com/a/k12.kpdsb.ca
Select Enter and you should route to the KPDSB Google Sign-in site.
Again, at the URL address bar, right click and then select COPY.
Minimize Internet Explorer and any other open applications so that you are at your desktop.
On Desktop, right click and select NEW and SHORTCUT.
At the pop-up, right click in the long white rectangle and select PASTE.
Select NEXT.
On the next pop-up, type in a name for your shortcut. I used Google Drive.
Select FINISH.
Once you're back at your desktop, check that your shortcut works and place it where you want it.
